Jasmine Pang

 

Founder & President of Branding Shanghai

Born in Shanghai, Jasmine used to work in Shanghai Municipal Press Office, Shanghai Publicity Department, Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination and Expo Shanghai Group. Jasmine holds a master’s degree in Journalism from Fudan University and bachelor’s degree from Shanghai International Studies University.

In 2016, Jasmine founded Branding Shanghai, an organization which aims not only to help promote the Chinese metropolis all over the world, but also to help global nations, cities, organizations, corporations, and celebrities to land and develop in China.

Jasmine has organized Shanghai’s city branding campaign including “Shanghai. Let’s Meet!” campaign in Tokyo (2019), Liverpool (2018-2019) and London (2016-2017), Shanghai’s official participation in the 2015 Milan World Expo and “It’s Shanghai Time” theme exhibition at UNESCO Headquarters as part of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit to France in 2014.

Jasmine has compered many big international events including the World Urban Forum organized by UN-Habitat in Kuala Lumpur 2018 and in Abu Dhabi 2020; the China-UK Business Forum in Shanghai in February 2018, with the presence of former British Prime Minister Theresa May and top Chinese entrepreneurs such as Jack Ma, Guo Guangchang and Li Shufu.
